My LDS Food Storage Challenge: Day 1 In the Kitchen

Today was an off day. We had a lot going on.

For breakfast we had a choice of sourdough blueberry muffins, sourdough toast with peanut butter, or cereal. I had cottage cheese and a slice of leftover bacon from dinner last night.

Lunch was McDonalds as well as food from a local coffee shop. While we don’t drink coffee or tea, this particular shop has excellent food. I had a sausage and jalapeno handpie.

Dinner was Campbell’s tomato soup with grilled cheese on homemade sourdough bread.

I didn’t do many kitchen chores today. I sorted black beans and pinto beans. I have them soaking in separate bowls. I am going to cook them tomorrow afternoon in the instant pot and put them in the fridge for later in the week.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day so I will say good night for now.
