Going organic is certainly a process. I’m discovering that eating organic is more complicated than the labels themselves, but I’m learning.
Here’s what we ate for dinners last week:
Tuesday: Half Wheat Sourdough Pancakes with Strawberry Coulis and Vanilla Whipped Cream, Jimmy Dean Sausage
Wednesday: Chicken Salad Sandwiches
Thursday: Breakfast Burritos
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Egg Roll in a Bowl
We bought some organic milk, and it was quite tasty.
Today we planted most of our spring garden. We planted broccoli, carrots, greens of all kinds, lettuce, and cabbage. In a day or two, we are going to plant potatoes and onions. We are really hoping that our garden does well this year. One of the cheapest ways to eat organic is to grow it yourself.
